Grandma's Tuesday Night Special (Good for low budgets and big families)

Ingredients

1 1 lb box shell macaronni (penne works well also)
1 1/2 lb lean ground beef
2 jars pasta sauce (whatever your favorite is...grandma always used Ragu)
1 1/2 lb shredded mozzarella cheese
1 diced green pepper
1 diced onion
Non-stick cooking spray
11 x 13 baking dish
Aluminum foil
Cook

Preheat oven to 375. Put pasta on to boil. Meanwhile brown together ground beef, green pepper, and onion until done.
Drain meat and pasta well.
Mix pasta and beef mix together.
Add pasta sauce and mix well.
Spray baking dish with non-stick spray.
Add 1/2 sauced pasta to dish and cover with 1/2 lb of cheese.
Pour in remaining sauced pasta (making sure to spread everything evenly) and top with remaining cheese.
Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 375 for 20-30 minutes.
Remove aluminum foil and bake until cheese is slightly browned (however you like it).
Remove from oven and allow to sit at least 5 minutes.
Serve with your choice of bread (we prefer garlic bread).
Serves 6-10 adults.
